Edited 7/1/2022: Added cheeses suitable for the recipe.

Vegan cannelloni is one of our children's feats, because the recipe is quite simple and filling the tubes is easy for little hands. An adult's help may be needed mainly for frying food in the oven.

You can choose almost any ready-made pasta sauce you like for the recipe. Arrabbiata gives the food a nice kick, but another good option is, for example, Rainbow Verdure pasta sauce. On the other hand, I don't think the pasta sauce flavored with basil fits this recipe very well.

For cheese, I recommend the following:

  • Porlammi grated veggie cheese: doesn't melt well, but has a real cheese taste and is easy to find in grocery stores
  • Nurishh grated veggie cheese: real cheese taste and melts well, but this cheese can be hard to find anywhere
