This is how you make easy and delicious vegan parmesan cheese in less than five minutes. There are many different versions of this, but I always turn to this favorite recipe.
This "cheese" doesn't melt, but otherwise you can use it as a substitute for parmesan in any recipe to bring a wonderful cheesy and salty taste to food, for example:
- to vegetable rolls
- lasagna
- to the pesto
- to pizza
- on top of the pasta
- on top of the salad

All you need is:
- cashew nuts
- nutritional yeast flakes
- garlic powder
- salt
Store the finished parmesan in the refrigerator in a tight box or container, for example a small glass jar. I have yet to have my own veggie parmesan go bad, even after storing it in the fridge for several weeks and even months.
