If you're looking for easy, family-friendly vegan recipes, you've come to the right place!

I've been cooking for over 20 years, but a vegan diet is new to me. Since familiar tastes are important to my children, I often make veganized versions of familiar home dishes. I test different products and techniques to find the best substitutes for familiar animal products.

When I started to increase the amount of vegetables in my diet, I felt that many vegan recipes tasted really foreign to those of us who are used to meat food. My children were downright against every lentil and bean stew... I set out to develop recipes that would taste good to all of us, regardless of our background.

I hope these recipes make it easier for you to add more vegetables to your diet, no matter what your food history. All recipes have been tested at least a couple of times and evaluated by three other family members.

Since we regularly have two enthusiastic assistant cooks in our kitchen, I also publish recipes with the tag ?children cook?. These are particularly easy and simple recipes suitable for beginners.
