This ham pasta has been around for twenty years, in many different versions. It has always tasted good to everyone, even the youngest in the family, even when they couldn't eat any other food. It's a bit like a box of macaroni - crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside and tastes good with ketchup. It's a nice clear food, because all the ingredients are clearly visible and there are no hidden pieces of onion or anything else suspicious.
It's also really easy to prepare, for a couple of reasons:
- no need to cook any complicated sauces, because the "sauce" is simply a jar of cooking cream/whipping cream/whipped cream
- as pasta, you can use any patterned pasta you can find in the cupboard or even ribbon pasta (tagliatelle)
- the vegetables can probably already be found in the freezer: corn, peas, peas-corn-pepper or similar
- almost any grated cheese you can find in the cupboard is suitable for mixing and icing
- + for meat eaters: if you use the right ham, almost anything is suitable for this – ham, sliced ham to be used on a sandwich, ready-made pizza strips, chicken fillet cubes, soap chicken slices (also Vuolu Chicken Fajitas) and so on

There are only four main steps in the recipe:
- Cook the pasta
- Thaw the vegetables
- Mix all the ingredients into the pasta
- Bake in the oven with grill resistance for about 10 min
Tips
- Cheese-flavored oat cream/food cream is also suitable for this.
- By using chili-flavored grated cheese (e.g. Porlam's Vege Plus Chili) give your food more kick.
- Frozen vegetables can also be thawed by throwing them into the pasta pot at the end for about 5 minutes and draining the water from them at the same time as the cooked pasta.
