Does it sound familiar: the workday is over, the child's hobby starts in an hour, and the family should come up with a really quick dinner, preferably in fifteen minutes, so that they still have time to eat it?

This quick one-pot pasta comes to the rescue in just such a situation. All the ingredients are thrown into the same pot and cooked on low heat until the pasta is cooked.

Side dishes that go well with pasta

This pasta is good on its own, but if you need more protein, they are suitable as a side dish, for example these vegan veggie rolls. The rolls can be prepared in advance, or they can be prepared at the same time in the oven - even the rolls are ready in half an hour.

Also Bolt Original in terms of its taste, it is a good companion for this pasta.

As a barbecue food friend

I have often served this pasta with grilled food. Many times you need a juicy sauce on the side of grilled food, so this problem is also solved: the pasta itself is nicely juicy, so it serves as a sauce at the same time.

Where to find vegan feta

For this recipe, I used a domestic oat-based novelty, i.e. vegan MÖ Greek - cheese. It's a really good alternative to traditional feta cheese, because the taste is extremely good and you can even crumble the cheese in your hands in the authentic way.

I found Mö-juusto in a big supermarket, but it's worth asking elsewhere as well, and also suggests on the shelf of your own local store. Since the product is domestic, it should be easy to order in a store rather than a store.

Almost ready

This pasta is prepared so quickly that you can prepare it and still have time to eat it - all in less than half an hour.

Wherever you're going, this time you'll be out the door exceptionally fast!

Nice, huh?

This vegan pasta is ready in fifteen minutes. All the ingredients are thrown into the same pot and cooked on low heat until the pasta is cooked.

  • 2 tablespoon of rapeseed oil
  • 400 g pasta
  • 400 g whole canned tomatoes
  • 1.5 canned water (save the can of tomatoes for measuring)
  • 0.5 pr vegan tomato pesto
  • 0.50.75 tsp salt
  • a pinch of black pepper

In addition

  • basil leaves
  • vegan feta

  1. Put all the ingredients in the pot except the feta. Save some of the basil to add to the pasta.
  2. Cook on low heat under the lid for about 10 minutes until the pasta is cooked. Stir occasionally.
  3. If the water disappears too quickly and there is not enough water left for the pasta, add a little water instead.
  4. When the pasta is just barely cooked, add the feta and the remaining basil leaves.
  5. Take the pot off the stove and let it cook for another couple of minutes under the lid. The pasta continues to cook even at this point.
