These melt-in-the-mouth butter buns are ready in less than an hour and only require one rise. Their role model is the Americans dinner roll - rolls. The idea is that you have time to spin the rolls while dinner is being prepared on the stove.
You only need 6 ingredients for these:
- semi-coarse wheat flour
- dry yeast
- almond or cashew milk
For baking, you can use either a loose-bottomed pan, like I did, or any other pan of a suitable size - it doesn't have to be round. As long as the pan is well greased, the rolls can be removed from the bottom of the pan, for example using a large spoon as a help.
- Prepare the dough.
- Roll into rolls.
- Raise in an 80-100 degree oven.
- Remove the pan from the oven for a moment and raise the temperature to 200 degrees.
- Bake for about 15 minutes.
- Unplug and enjoy!
